Talking Poker with Nikhil Arora

Q. What is your long-term plan with Poker?
Learn, Grow and Inspire!

Q. Any advice for youngsters starting their Poker journey?
It’s your hard-earned money and so, it is your responsibility. When you play online poker you should treat your buy-ins as an investment that you make in business – the risk is high but the reward is higher. Play wise and always aim long term.

Q. How did you start playing Poker?
I learned Poker when I was in high school. A friend of mine, who came all the way from California, introduced me to the game of Texas Hold’em Poker.

Q. At what point did you become a winning player and what process aided that development?
I became a winning player after I studied the basic fundamentals of the sport, obviously, but most importantly when I came to learn about the concept of Poker Bankroll – why do the best players have big bankrolls, why it is important to even have a bankroll, what is the risk of ruin, etc. then tracking the results for better bankroll management and then finally figuring out the best ways to expand it.

Q. What kind of effect do you think the online gaming boom has had on the integrity of the game?
I believe the effect of the online gaming boom has had a massive impact on the integrity of the game. People are now taking Poker as a career option & you can hear a lot of inspirational stories from players. All in all, the stakes have increased and it’s the correct time for someone to succeed in Poker. You just need to be serious about the game and put a lot of blood and sweat into learning the subtleties of the game.

Q. If you weren’t a pro poker player, what would you be doing?
If I weren’t a pro poker player, which I believe I still ain’t, I would probably be doing something around the Poker Industry itself – because of my love and passion for the game.

Q. What is it like to play on Pocket52? How has been your experience with Pocket Vault?
Pocket52 is one of the lightest poker apps I’ve ever come across. It does not require any high-end hardware specifications and runs perfectly smooth in the web browser with the Instant Play feature. As for the Pocket Vault, it’s one of the best Reward Programs available in the industry right now as it has the option to either withdraw cash as Rakeback or accumulate Pocket Coins to redeem from the list of amazing goodies & gadgets. Kudos!

Q. Poker Learning – What is Your perspective and what are your expectations?
I believe every person is born with a different attitude and that every individual’s playing style is highly influenced by their nature to react to different situations. When learning poker one should adapt their style and play according to what best suits their attitude.
