Q. What does Poker mean to you? Today, poker is a part of my day-to-day life. Be it in the poker room/stable operations or playing at the tables myself – poker is an integral part of my 24 hrs.
Q. Do you like playing poker online or offline and why? I prefer playing live poker to online poker simply because live poker is much more social than playing online. Also, I somehow can’t seem to crack and win consistently in online poker.
Q. Tell us about your Poker journey. How did you start playing Poker? From 2007-to 2011, I was a semi-recreational poker player and from 2011-to 2015, I was a recreational player. In 2016-2018, I became a professional poker player, though now I am recreationally professional.
Q. At what point did you realize you were a winning player? Somewhere in mid/late 2015 after I refined my strategy and tactics a little more.
Q. What is your favorite Poker moment? Without a doubt – playing at the 2018 WSOP Main Event, was an experience that will stay with me forever.
Q. What is your long-term planning with Poker? To be a good ambassador of the game and fly the flag as high as possible and help poker players garner more respect in the Indian society.
Q. What are your thoughts on the 2019 WSOP Tournament? The 2019 WSOP will be very successful and lucrative for the Indian contingent w.r.t $$$ return on investment IMHO.
Q. Any advice for youngsters starting their Poker journey? Take decisions that will make you respect yourself. You will be a success.
Q. How do you see the future of the Online Poker Industry? Boom-Boom and Super Boom. Poker is here to grow.
